Day 1 Bäckby Skola (Finland).

 It's a cold Finnish morning and Sofia picks me up in her own car at 7:45. He receives me with all the kindness in the world and we go to school. She introduces me to director Ture and her partner Stina. The headmaster gives me the center's schedule and invites me to start by attending his music class.  They are very kind and friendly.      School surroundings.     Inside the school. As soon as you enter the school you can see that they have many material resources. There are all different kinds of thing, they even have a sewing workshop and a carpenter´s workshop! The facilities are very well prepared and access is good. Teachers have their own bathroom where they use to change their clothes according the subject they are assigned to. For instance, if they have physical education or if they do outdoorlearning  they wear tracksuit. The Internet access is fast but sometimes it can be unstable. Day 4 Bäckby Skola, Pedersöre (Finland).

  Mo (Swedish): 3rd - 4th. We start in 3rd and 4th grade with reading comprehension activities. During the 45-minutes class, the teacher pauses for 3-4 minutes to do kinetic exercises and promote brain activation.  OL (Natural Sciences) : 3rd - 4th. We go out into the environment to observe different birds that have come to spend the summer season with binoculars. We took a book to identify them and learn about some of their characteristics. We return to the classroom to read and comment on the section related to birds. Finally, we search on on two websites about the migration of elks in Sweden where they have to cross a river. Also, we observed on another website the evolution of a nest from mating to hatching. Both pages offer live connection. Slöjd (Carpentry) : 1st - 2nd . INTERACTION

  We are close to say goodbye to this interesting course about a wide range of digital resources to use in class, but before I finish I have been looking up the different blogs created by the participants where they have shared their ideas and experiences and this provides enrichment for everybody. I  liked the Edpuzzle  from Ángela´s blog since it´s about the topic we are working in class and it helps the students to practice listening and speaking. The activity is structured in Pre task, Task and Post task with clear objectives.  I will now plan a Edpuzzle activity with my group.  Project : Planning a trip and writing a postcard. 1. Mini-project with Genially to practice Speaking.

  This time the instructions are simple. We will use the tool Genially to support and encourage oral interaction in the classroom. Students will plan and develop a small  project in groups of 3  with the end of  presenting it to the rest of the class . Although the task touches on all skills at some point, the main aims are:  1) To practice SPEAKING.   2) Improve presentation skill.     3) Encourage interactive (or active listening) .  In group the students will create a collective story through the visualization of different images from the book the Monster. Read this book made on StoryJumper ● How did you organise the groups? We made this activity using cooperative learning. We are nine groups of three people each. Every group had to create a tale using pictures. ●     What was the sequence of tasks that you followed to get to the final product? I am a primary teacher so I organised the activity from three subjects.  1. Lengua Castellana y Literatura.  They collaborated in groups of three to create a story watching a sequence of images.
